Carolyn Brooks, 80, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010.
She retired from DuPont after 41 years of service.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude and Warren Poole; brother, Beverly Poole, sister, Roberta Anderson; grandson, Allen Head.
Survivors include her husband, Bernard Brooks; son, Ronnie (Veronica) Head; granddaughter, Michelle (Alan) Combs; great grandchildren, Tyler Wilmoth and Nicholas Combs; brother, Garner Poole; sisters, Hilda Hayworth and Rita Mann and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the North Chapel with Bro. Terry Brandfast officiating.
Interment will follow at Payne’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Hwy 157 Lookout Mountain, GA.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 and on Wednesday from noon until the time of the service at the North Chapel.
