Charles Daryl “Chuck” Johnson, 65, of Signal Mountain died Saturday, July 18, at his home surrounded by his wife and children. He was born July 15, 1955 in Chattanooga to the late Charles Willis and Barbara Jean Johnson. His brothers, Ronnie, Rickie, and Joel preceded him in death.
Chuck loved Jesus, Margaret and his family. His wife and children were everything to him. He never met a stranger, and was always willing to help anyone in need.
He was a member of the Antique Car Club of America and the Model A Restorers Club of America. Chuck was a master mechanic. Chuck could fix anything, neighbors and friends often looked to him for advice. His favorite hobby was restoring antique cars.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Margaret Johnson; children, Chuck Johnson, Jr., and Erin Nicole Johnson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Saturday, July 25 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11-2 Saturday.
