Charles was born on October 14, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA. He moved to Chattanooga where he graduated from UTC with a degree in business. He was in the masonry industry for 35 years and was a retired foreman with Jenkins Masonry. Charles was a member of Hixson Presbyterian Church for 40 years. He also spent many years coaching both of his daughters’ softball teams.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Passow; and brothers, William and Robert Passow.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Passow; daughters, Jennifer (Josh) Owens, Pamela Passow; grandson, Taylor Owens; brothers, Harry (Sharon) Passow, Richard (Heidi) Passow; sister, Mary Passow; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Hixson Presbyterian Church on Saturday, September 11th at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service. The service will be officiated by Pastor Robert Johnson.
