

In Loving Memory
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Charlotte Rose Clark, who departed this world June 10, 2025, at the age of 94. Beloved by family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her, her remarkable life left an indelible mark on many.
Born March 7, 1931, in Chattanooga, TN, Charlotte lived a life filled with purpose, passion, and love. Dr. Clark made her home in Lexington, KY where she was a psychology professor at the University of Kentucky. She had extensive knowledge of child psychology and participated in numerous research projects. Dr. Clark collaborated with her dear friend Leighton Fossum to illustrate many of the children's books she authored. Throughout her journey, Dr. Clark touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
Dr. Clark is survived by her cousin James R. Rose, his wife Linda W. Rose, and their daughter Trina Rose, who will forever cherish the memories and love Charlotte brought into their lives. Dr. Clark will also be remembered fondly by the many students, friends and organizations she so graciously helped, believed in and supported.
A devoted professor, Dr. Clark, inspired generations of students with a passion for learning and research. She loved traveling, teaching, reading, art, classical music, antiques, and her beloved cats.
Though we grieve this profound loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life Charlotte lived. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
