Bob ( Bobby) Phillips, 64, departed from this life Friday Aug. 22 ,2014. He was raised in Chattanooga and graduated from Notre Dame, class of 1968 and Chattanooga State College. Bob was employed many years with OSA in Ringgold and in more recent years partnered with lifelong Friend Lee Lusk in Video Inventory Programs .
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Annie Phillips.
Bob is survived by one daughter Kimberly (Chris) Leone, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Courtney Leone. He also leaves behind four sisters, Elizabeth (Jim) Barham, Sister Mary Claudia O.S.C., Margaret (Delbert) Secrest, Sara (Glenn) Moates, Claudia (Harry) Erwin, and three brothers, David, James (Bihju), Thomas (Kristen) Phillips. Surviving Nieces Hala Butler, Marites Erwin, Marji Hughes and Hannah Phillips.Nephews are Mark Barham, Byron Erwin, Taylor Moates, Jimmy, Samuel, Ben, Alex & Luke Phillips.
Bob was an avid motorcycle enthusiasts and will be missed by his riding companions and many life long friends. Bob was of the Catholic Faith.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25 from 4-8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at St. Jude Catholic Church
Interment to Follow to Lakewood Memorial Gardens-East
