Daniel attended East Ridge High School. He was a master welder and former employee with Alstom TMG. He was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry “Billie” McDonald; grandparents, Bob and Marie Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years and companion for 24 years, Heather Hamill McDonald; children, Montie, Logan and Emma McDonald; sister, Jerilyn McDonald; nephew, Grant McDonald and a very special cousin, Jeff Martin. Daniel was a very loving father and devoted friend.
There will be a memorial service held at 2 pm on Friday, February 21, at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church with his uncle Reverend Randy Martin officiating. The family will greet friends after the memorial service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Memorial Account listed under the name Heather Hamill McDonald, account number ending in 2157, at any SunTrust Bank.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
