He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Regina Wolfe, and his first wife Susan Bowman Wolfe.
He is survived by his loving wife Vickie Shelton Wolfe, daughter Candace Wolfe of Gretna, Virginia, step-children Jeff Shelton of Dayton, Carrie Revis of Hixson, Matt Shelton of Soddy Daisy, brother John Wolfe, Jr., sisters Regina Jabaley, Mary Agnes Noonan, Ann Powell of Hixson, Elaine Wolfe of Whitwell, Elizabeth Wolfe of Nashville, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel with a rosary at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Charles Burton officiating. Burial will follow at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital Foundation, 4345 Papa Joe Hendricks Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28262.
