Mr. David R. Thomas, 70, of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. David was born in Chattanooga, TN on April 22, 1947. He retired as a District Sales Manager for McKee Foods. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his beloved son, Michael. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Suzanne Thomas of Hendersonville, his dear daughter, Melanie Saldutti, son-in-love, James Saldutti, and his grandsons, Russell Thomas Saldutti and Ryan James Saldutti. He is also survived by his brother, Ray Thomas (Darlene) of Columbia, SC and a sister, Jean Morrison (Jim) of Ringgold, GA, and his large extended family which he loved. Graveside services were held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Black Mountain Neuro Medical Center, 932 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
