She was a 1976 graduate of Hixson High School, and Highland Beauty Academy. Diann retired from the US Postal Service, where she was a Route Mapper. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church on Signal Mountain. Diann was a member of the Waldens Guild, and was an Administrative Lieutenant for Waldens Ridge Emergency Services. She was a member of the Daisy chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star.
Diann was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Smith and Syble Ooten Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gary Sivley; her son, Taylor (Jill) Sivley; 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Catherine, Daniel, and Adelyn Sivley. 2 brothers, Bob (Kathy) Smith Jr., and Terry Smith, 1 sister, Julia (Tammy) Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted from the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Thursday August 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rocky Bradford, and Reverend Bill Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 2, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at North Chapel.
