Ethel Florence Chandler, 80, died Monday, May 9, 2016. She was born August 12, 1935 in Atlantic City, New Jersey the youngest of six children born to the late Frederick James Lewis and Anna May Klosterman Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Fred Chandler; son, Fred Chandler, Jr.; brothers, Frederick James Lewis, Jr., Arthur James Lewis, Harry Robert Lewis and John Howard Lewis; sister, Anna May Nichols.
She loved to travel, loved the beach and was an expert at Parcheesi. Mrs. Chandler enjoyed showing poodles. Mr. Chandler was in the US Navy, this enabled the whole family to see the world.
Mrs. Chandler raised two boys, numerous dogs (especially poodles), cats and birds.
Survivors include two sons, Donald (Sue) Chandler and Jeff (Patti) Chandler, and a niece, Julie Ann Lewis.
A private service will be held in Florida.
