Dr. Federico Supan, Jr, 77, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church. Dr. Supan received his degree in medicine from Manila Central University in the Philippines. He celebrated life, loving his family, friends and potluck group.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Federico Pangan Supan and Lucia Briones Supan and a sister, Lindy Mira.
Survivors include his wife, Angelina Supan; son Ricky (Angie) Supan; daughter, Lynn Supan (David) Hood; two grandchildren, Emma and Christopher Hood; three sisters, Revie Supan, Beth Supan, Rowena (Freddie) de Jesus; two brothers, Alberto (Flor) Supan and Sonny (Brenda) Supan; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at Hixson United Methodist Church with the Rev. Reed Shell officiating. The committal service will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN.
