Born in Wilmington Delaware November 22, 1961, George was a long- time resident of Chattanooga, George was preceded in death by his wife, Carmel Hixson.
George was employed by The Catch in Cleveland, TN but was also very active in the Chattanooga business community and was the former owner of Details Hair Salon in Hixson, TN. George was also a member of the Masonic Temple of Hixson.
Survivors include George’s sons, George Seidel IV (Gerry) and Christopher Holder both of Chattanooga, father George Seidel Jr. of Fort Worth, TX, mother Susan Long of Hixson, TN, sisters Lisa Seidel Norcia (Tim Allen) of Lindenhurst, IL and Susan Dolbow Houston of Summerland Key, FL, Stephanie (Jeff) Degn of Fort Worth, TX, brother Drew (Heather) Seidel of Longview, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel Sunday March 20th at 2pm. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center 4500 N. Access Rd. Chattanooga, TN.
