Harry, a Chattanooga native, was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and was a registered engineer in the state of Tennessee. Harry worked for the Chattanooga Electric Power Board and retired as the Assistant General Manager. He served with the United States Army in the European Theatre during World War II and the Korean War. He received a Bronze Star with V for valor while serving the country.
Survivors include wife, Bebe Jean Morgan; children, Karen Andrews and husband Rick Andrews; Harry Morgan Jr. and wife Judy; grandchildren, Tanya Andrews, Kenneth Andrews, Nicholas Morgan, Zach Morgan, and Melissa Morgan; sister Mildred Baggett; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Devotion.
Services for Harry will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Devotion with Rev. Mark Gooden officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
