Jack Molton

Jack was born in Macon, Georgia and graduated from Lanier High School. He served in the Army Reserves for over 6 years. Jack retired from the Trucking Industry with over 37 years of service and then as manager at Stone Container for 8 years. Jack loved his 14 years working part time with Chattanooga Funeral Home. He was a longtime member of Hixson First Baptist Church where he taught several Sunday School Classes.

Jack is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elena Molton; children, Beth (Glenn) Lyon and Gary (Melanie) Molton; grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Lyon and Alexis (Clark) Hatfield; great grandchildren, Hugh and Tatum.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Jack will follow at 3 pm on Saturday in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with his Pastor Dr. Steven Granger officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses with Hearth Hospice for their loving care.
