Micky was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and a 1978 graduate of Hixson High School. He served our country in the U. S. Navy as a Seabee and continued his civilian career as a heavy equipment operator. Micky attended St. Jude Catholic Church. He was a member of the GWRRA Chapter V, Choo Choo Wings Motorcycle Club.
Micky was preceded in death by his parents, Marvell and Herbert Fischer.
He is survived by his three siblings, Bryan (Donna) Fischer, Joe (Joanna) Fischer and Vivian Fischer; and his high school sweetheart and longtime companion, JoAnna Fischer Manis.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Micky will be laid to rest beside his parents at Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Thursday, February 23, at 10 AM with Father Charlie Burton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Micky’s name to St. Jude Catholic Church, 930 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
