

Jim was a native of Marietta, Georgia and served our country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Provident Life and was a longtime employee with Red Bank Ace Hardware. Jim maintained his active registration with the Boy Scouts of American for over 62 years. He was an active member of Red Bank United Methodist Church where he served on many different committees and was a member of the Armstrong Lyons Sunday School Class.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kemp and Marguerite Barnes Ingram and a sister, Barbara Ingram Donovan.
Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pat Marr Ingram; two children, Marian Ingram and Jeff Ingram and wife Miki; four grandchildren, Blake Ingram, Drew Dahlke, Michael and Parker Ingram; two nephews, Robert and Jarrell Donovan.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the North Chapel and again from 12 (noon) to 1 p.m. on Monday at the church.
Services for Jim will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Red Bank United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Lambert officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Ave, NW, Marietta, Georgia 30064.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim’s name to Red Bank United Methodist Church, 3800 Dayton Blvd., Red Bank, TN 37415 or to the Boy Scouts of America, 6031 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
