She was born July 11, 1946 in Osceola, Arkansas to the late Gerall Monaghan & John W. Hall, Jr.
Janice was a member of Lupton Drive Baptist Church. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Franks and brother, John W. Hall, III.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Darrell Boyd, Sr.; son, Bruce (Kelley) Franks of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Robin (Will) Scruggs of Chickamauga, GA; stepson, Darrell (Vonna) Boyd, Jr. of Soddy Daisy, TN; sisters, Michele (Joe) Drennen of Fort Thomas, KY and Teresa White of Waco, TX; grandchildren, Adam, Chase, Emily, Maggie, Lexie, Samantha, and Alex; her beloved pets, Ola & Jaz; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. with the service beginning in the North Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Dr. Randy Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Due to Covid-19, all guidelines of social distancing set in place by the CDC must be followed. The family respectfully requests anyone attending service wear face coverings.
