Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed traveling the country as the Tour Manager for Confederate Railroad for the past 3 1/2 years. His love for music showed in all the students he had the pleasure of teaching guitar to over the last 35+ years. He was a very talented musician and sound engineer.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Angie Johnson; daughters Kara, Natasha and Kali Johnson; granddaughter Harper Johnson; mother Diana (Mimi) Johnson; siblings Chip (Teresa) Johnson, Connie Johnson and Fritz Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marlin Fritz Johnson, Jr. and granddaughter Karington Mae Miner.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 16th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 401 Gateway Ave. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
