John Dennis Szekely, 35, of Hixson died Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was born November 13, 1980 in Abington, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Valleybrook Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Bristol Pennsylvania Yacht Club and of the Boy Scouts of America. He was employed by Houston Landscaping Services. John attended Soddy Daisy High School.
Survivors include his son, Trevor Penney; mother and father, Paula and Stuart Hilton; D. Szekely; brothers and sisters, Jacqui Andreasen, Ian Hilton, Rachel Hilton, David Hilton, Andrew Hilton, Matthew Hilton, Adrienne Simpson, Vanessa Tripp, Jennifer Maddux, Michael Hilton, Scott Hilton and Chris Hilton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30. At 11:00 am in the Valleybrook Presbyterian Church,6001 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tennessee with Rev. Adel Thalos officiating.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral home from 4-8 Tuesday.
