John was born in Pulaski, Tennessee to the late Peter and Rossella Womack. He served our country during World War II in the United States Navy in the Pacific. “Buddy” retired from TVA with over 32 years of service. He enjoyed bowling and boating in his younger years.
John is survived by his wife of 71 years, Caroline E. Womack; son, David Womack; grandchildren, Amy Vanessa (Jeff) Arendale and Elizabeth Anne (Adam) Sanders; six great grandchildren.
The family will be following John’s wishes and there will be no visitation or services.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
