Judy will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she had for the Lord and her family. Her generous spirit and compassionate heart touched all who knew her. Judy's legacy lives on through the many lives she enriched with her presence.
Her last words of wisdom she left us with were; make your life matter for Jesus, love each other, make everyday count, and enjoy life.
Judy was the beloved wife of the late Phil Tingle. She is survived by her children, Mitch (Rhonda) Tingle, Gina (Wes) Arnold, and Scott (Kim) Tingle; cherished granddaughter, Hannah (Jon) Patton; siblings, Bob Carroll, Joan Carroll, and Wanda Morris; her dear family members Sue Tingle, Joy Smith; and lifelong friend Sybil Lheureux, and many wonderful neighbors.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene Carroll and Gladys Young Carroll, and brother Jimmy.
She was a devoted member of Oakwood Baptist Church.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A Celebration of Judy’s Life will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Grady Dishroon officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
