Julia Mae Howard

She was an avid cook and homemaker. She was a child care provider in her home for many years. She loved spending time with her big family.

She was greatly loved by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Raymond W. Howard, their children, Kathy (Bill) Gannom; Gail (Ron) Smith; Anita (Donnie) Hughes; Becky (Tim) Mines; Chris (Jerry Slaven) Howard; grandchildren, Jason (Lori) Holcomb; Marty (Jennifer) Smith; Brandon (Sarah) Snyder; Jennifer (David) Schwabenbauer; Adam (Haley) Mines; Matthew (Amber) Mines; Timothy (Natashau) Mines; Jacob Mines; great-grandchildren, Madison; Brooklynn; Cooper; Conner; Alex; Caleb; Avery; Annelyse; Adaley; Beckham; Peyton; Arabella; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM EDT, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Amy Nutt officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Chattanooga Kidney Center, on Stein Drive, for all the care they provided her for the last 18 years of her life.
