June Krauth Smith

June Smith passed away peacefully Sunday, March 17 at the age of 91 having entered into her rest with her Lord whom she loved. June was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Dorothy Krauth, her husband Charles E Smith, brother Charles Krauth, daughter in-law Patty Smith and son in-law Jim Gibbs, brother in-law Joe Abston, and grandson Chris Kocincki.

She is survived by:

Her daughter Sandee Gibbs, her granddaughters Jillian Coe (Brett), Shelby Gibbs and great grand-daughters Aubrey, Chloe and Mackenzie Coe.

Son Ricky Smith, grandchildren Tony (Mary) Carlton, Tommy Carlton, Steve Kocincki & Shelly (Bobby) Sullivan, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Son Eddy Smith (Elaine) and granddaughter Emily Smith.

Her brother Tony Krauth (Rita) and sister Dottie Abston.

And several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Sale Creek Independent Presbyterian Church and an accomplished musician playing the piano for the services, accompanying soloists and playing for the cantata programs while she was able. She enjoyed helping with Bible school for the children. Her seamstress and quilting abilities were well admired.

A special thank you to her compassionate caregivers, her thoughtful neighbors and loving church members.

A celebration of life to be held at the church at 11:00 am on March 30, 2024.
