Kaye was born in Ashville, North Carolina, and raised in Ringgold, Georgia. In her young years Kaye was a model. After raising her children she worked for TBN and a Christian radio station as a master controller. What she loved most about her job was the opportunity to pray with people who called in to the station. For over 20 years Kaye attended The Crossing.
Kaye is survived by her 6 children, Whitney Smith (Joe Smith), Tracey Ferguson (Troy Ferguson), Jeremiah Meier, Michaela Meier (Nathan Teater), Philip Meier (Karen Meier) and AnnaLiese Danner (Zak Danner), her 11 grandchildren, Kaytee, James, Christian, Caleb, Chloe, Cade, Judah, Winter, Lily, Nash and Hendrik and 3 great grandchildren, Madison, Gabriel and Melody. All of whom she loved and was very proud of.
