Kenneth William McGuire, 34, died unexpectedly on April 26, 2020 at his grandparents’ home in Chattanooga. Kent was born in Dayton, Ohio. Later the family moved to Chattanooga and Kent attended Boyd Buchanan, graduated from Central High School and attended TN Tech University. He worked at a variety of Chattanooga restaurants.
Kent was preceded in death by his mother, Sharron Hurst McGuire. He is survived by his father, Stephen McGuire, brothers, Benjamin McGuire and Jeffrey McGuire, Houston, TX, and grandparents, William and Mildred McGuire, Chattanooga. Kent’s extended family included his mother’s family in Tazewell, TN, and special family members: uncle Gregory McGuire and family, Lookout Mountain, TN; aunts Martha Henemier, Cleveland, Sandra Caldwell ,Chattanooga and cousin Josh Caldwell, Chattanooga.
Kent was single but had many friends including special friend Max Ault. He had lived many years with his loving grandparents. He was a kind, loyal, and loving person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Private services will be held for Kent in Chattanooga, TN and Houston, TX. The McGuire family thanks the many family members and friends who have been so supportive in this sad and difficult time.
