Larry was born in Dyer, TN to Russell and Lydia Crouse. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and obtained his Master of Mechanical Engineering Degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Mr. Crouse was a Professional Engineer and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, among numerous other professional organizations. He retired from DuPont and continued to work as Director of Engineering for Candle Corporation of America. Mr. Crouse was a member of First Baptist Church of Kernersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, J.T. and Russell Crouse, Jr. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Crouse; his son, Larry Crouse, Jr.; two sisters, Margaret and Ruth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the North Chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gadens. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Triad Office, 101 CentrePort Drive, Suite 130, Greensboro, NC 27409.
