Linda G. Roberts

She was born in Chattanooga, TN, and was the daughter of William and Faye Johnson.

She is survived by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Roberts, her children: Sherry Kean (Mike), Kevin Roberts (Tracey), Jenny Richardson (Mike), and Tracy Bonner (Rick); grandchildren: Abbie Kean, Nikki Bonner, Whitney Richardson, Marti Oakes (Trent), Mandi Williams (Zack), Garrett Richardson (Stephanie), Hannah Davis (Justin), Will Roberts; and 4 great granddaughters: Charli, Lyla, Haven, and Wynona, who gave her immense joy. She is also survived by her sisters: Susan Downs (Joe), Debra Franks (Roger), and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She graduated from Brainerd High School. She went on to get an education degree from UTC and taught elementary and middle school children. She was a faithful member of Middle Valley Baptist Church for many years, and thanked God for every blessing in her life.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren and great granddaughters. She was full of love, kindness, and compassion and will be greatly missed by her family.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 (noon) until 3 pm on Friday, April 24, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Linda will follow at 3 pm on Friday at the North Chapel with her Pastor Matt officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Middle Valley Baptist Church in her memory. We also are thankful for the many blood donors who gave us more time with her, and we encourage anyone willing to donate blood and platelets to Blood Assurance in her memory.
