She was born July 22, 1921 in Winchester, TN the daughter of William and Mary (Donaldson) Mason. She lived in Hixson for 41 years and was a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ.
Mrs. Weddington was preceded in death by her husband Lem F. Weddington in 2003.
She is survived by daughter, Martha (Wayne) Hendrix of Hixson; son Jim, (Marcene) Weddington of Ooltewah; four grandchildren Charlotte Davis, Spencer Sells, Jimmy Weddington, and Kerri Watters; three great grandchildren David Sells, Dylan Watters and Adin Watters; two great great grandchildren Ivy Sells and Ella Sells; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday June 10, 2011 at 12:00 Noon in the north Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Donald Ziegler and Minister Joey Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-8 Thursday evening and form 11-12 Friday.
