Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Gustave (Gus) Eiby Richter III and stepson, David Matthew Richter of Cartersville Ga.
She was a long-time resident of Signal Mtn Tn and a member of Signal Crest United Methodist Church.
Mary lived her life as an active mountain resident and was very involved in her community. She was a member of Signal Mtn Golf and Country Club where she enjoyed playing on the Women’s Golf League.
She was also a member of the Signal Mtn Garden Club and Bridge Club.
Mary was instrumental in founding the Signal Mtn. Recycling Center located on Taft Highway, Signal Mtn, Tn.
She loved to host parties. She hosted Gus’s birthday “Pig Pickin’” party every September.
Mary’s life was her family. She was loved, and still loved, admired and adored by all that knew her.
