She was a member of the 78th Recon Division and was of the Baptist Faith.
Her husband, Charles C. Stolz and brother, David L. Arwood preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Charles (Mary) Stolz of Hixson; daughter, Clara (Dr. Hooshang) Hooshmand of Vero Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Eva Marie (Peter) Finkelstein, Zara (Ron) Myers, Mary Margaret (Chris) Trent, Jenny (Robert) Metcalf, Mary Beth (Randy) Nicholson, and Charlotte Stolz; great-grandchildren, Charley, Ross, Rudy, Cameron, Christa, David, Kevin, and Caroline.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Mt. Olivet Cemtery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
