Loved this man. Mentor. Friend. Father type. Some of the best advice I've ever been given.

Diane, I was sorry to learn of Mike's passing. He was truly a wonderful man and he always spoke of his family with so much love. He was a true friend to me and my husband and a delight to talk to, he will be missed. You and your family are in our prayers.

Our many years of knowing Mike has been more of a friendship than a lawyer/client.  His kind smile & warm hugs always left me feeling better after any meeting with him. Our deepest sympathy to the family that he always spoke of with so much love in his eyes.  A great soul that will be greatly missed by many.

God has another Hero and he will be sadly missed.

Diane, Elizabeth & Mary Agnes, the service today for Mike, was just lovely. Loved hearing all the folks speak of Mike.  He was so special to so many people & everyone had the same theme...Mike loved to help folks. Never mind about him, it was always about others. Larry & I were so touched by the dove ceremony. A piece of our hearts flew with Mike's dove.  We will always remember him as part of our family, and by extension, so are you. We love you and we are here for you.  Larry & Barbara

I'm so sorry for your loss.  Mr. Mike was so nice and he always smiled and waved to me as he dropped Ruben off at OGC.  Please let Ruben know that all his friends at OGC love and are praying for him and his entire family.

No matter the reason I was speaking with Mike, I always felt uplifted after our conversation.  Mike, I admired your passion not just for the law, but for carrying the burdens of the oppressed, the weak, and the down trodden. Zach and I both were stunned and saddened to learn of Mike's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this hard time.
I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't know Mike. He was always charming and pleasant, even when I was a young girl growing up in South Pittsburg -- I can remember seeing him at our little public library in the American Legion Hall and thinking he was just wonderful. And Zach always enjoyed seeing him in practicing law over the years.

I have known Mike for many years and he was considered a part of our Family. Mike always showed his great spirit and kindness to all that was near him.

Words now escape me as I remember Mike, "The Kid" as I knew him. News of his untimely departure was truly difficult to comprehend, much the same as Mike expressed so often after our mutual friend, Tim, died nearly 49 years ago. Mike leaves a legacy of healed lives and mended hearts. We pathetic humans are not blessed with the wisdom to know why someone like Mike departs early, but are left to grieve far less than might be usual, comfortable with the knowledge Mike left this world a better place. We have the good fortune of having known him, been touched by him and blessed by his presence.

What a beautiful video tribute to an amazing man. I knew Mike from the early 70's and he made an impression on me then that continues to this day. I could always pick up the phone and call him whenever I needed advice. Will definitely miss him and his wonderful smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Looking forward to seeing you again someday....tell Dad hello for me.
