She was born and raised in South West, Michigan. Michelle graduated from Lakeshore High School and Western Michigan University. She was a dedicated employee of Memorial Hospital and CHI for 5 years where she was a member of the Healthcare Fraud Prevention Group.
Those that knew her will always remember her as a loving wife, mother, and friend. Her friends and family will greatly miss her genuine faithfulness, caring and generosity. She was a Girl Scout leader and fifth grade girl’s basketball coach at St. Jude.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Bob; daughters, Bailley, Kendra and Lauren; her parents, Marilyn and Rob Kibler of Watervliet, Michigan; James and Gloria Ballard of Coloma, Michigan; brother, Jim Ballard of St. Joseph, Michigan.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday at the North Chapel with a prayer service being held at 8 pm.
A Mass of Celebration for Michelle will be held at 10:30 am on Friday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 930 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415 with Father Charlie Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michelle’s name to St. Jude Catholic Church and school.
