She was born in Harriman, TN and resided in the area until 1967 when they moved to Florida. Mildred and Bobby returned to Tennessee where they resided in Decatur and Mildred worked in Athens, Tn. at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Mildred was preceded in death by a son, Michael Stephen Haynes, age 6 weeks; her husband, Robert E. Haynes;
Survivors include 3 sons: Robert E Haynes, Jr. (wife Pat) of Chattanooga. Lynn Haynes, (wife Cathy) of Pensacola, Fl., and Terry Haynes(wife Tonya) of St. Cloud, Fl. Mildred is also survived by 9 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, as well as great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 (noon) to 1 pm on Sunday, June 19, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Services for Mildred will follow at 1 pm on Sunday at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
