Mildred Louise McAllister White, 85, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at her home. She was a life-long resident of the Chattanooga area and a member of First Baptist Church, Soddy-Daisy.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. White; Parents, George E. and Hester Moredock McAlister; and sisters, Betty Jane Adams and Sue Johnston Combs.
Survivors include her sister, Sara Reeves; sister-in-law, Sylvia White and a brother-in-law, Marvin Adams.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 17, 12 Noon to 2 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A service will follow at 2 PM with Rev. Seton Tomyn officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mildred’s name to the Easter Pageant at First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1357, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37384.
