Nadyne was born in Evansville, Indiana to the late Edgar and Marie Godbey. She attended the Bible Missionary Church in Pleasant Grove, Alabama.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lavern Simpson.
Nadyne is survived by her husband of 62 years, Horace Gray; three children, Victor (Carolyn) Gray, David (Sandra) Gray and Thomas (Karen) Gray; six grandchildren, Erika Gray, Keith (Erin) Gray, Allison (Matt) Clarke, Todd (Dagney) Gray, Kevin (Anna) Gray and Ashley (Cody) Fisher; three great grandchildren, Violet Gray, Carter Clarke and Lauren Gray; brother, Edgar (Charlotte) Godbey; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, Sept. 6, and 1:30 to 2:30 Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the North Chapel.
Services for Nadyne will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, Sept 7, at the North Chapel with Rev. Rick Yancey officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
