Patty grew up an “Army Brat”, having lived in Tennessee, Texas, Minnesota, Florida and California, among other locales. She moved to Chattanooga in 1975 and was a graduate of Brainerd High School. Patty attended Chattanooga State Technical Community College and graduated as an X-Ray Technician. She was a Technician for many of the hospitals in Chattanooga until her second child was born.
Patty met her husband Mark in 1981 and married the following year. She had two wonderful daughters, Jessy and Bailey. Patty enjoyed her home life, gardening, sewing, her animals, crafting, and taking care of her family. She enjoyed her church and loved her church family at Clear Creek Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father Jackie Ambers Hurst, her mother Doris Hurst, and her mother-in-law Edna Kinsman.
Patty is survived by her husband, Mark Kinsman, two daughters, Jessy Kinsman, and Bailey Kinsman, her sister, Sherry Carter, niece, Amber Reed, nephew, Justin Carter, father-in-law, Norman Kinsman, and sister-in-law, Laura Robinson.
Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday May 14, 2025 at Clear Creek Church of Christ, 5612 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN.
