Ralph Elton Gannaway, 92, of Chattanooga died Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He was born in Chattanooga to the late Emmett and Bertie Gannaway. A son, Jeffrey Gannaway, siblings, Wallace Gannaway, Emmett Gannaway, Harold Gannaway, and Katherine Dunn preceded him in death.
He was a member of Christ Church Episcopal, and of the masonic lodge. Mr. Gannaway was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Air Force.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Tom) McKinney; grandchildren, Ian McKinney, and Adam Gannaway.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, April 24 at Christ Church Episcopal with the Reverend Doctor William Levanway officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 4-6 Friday evening.
