

Randolph was born in Memphis, TN to Randolph Sr. and Hazel McKenzie. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis in 1983. He completed ENT residency training at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences followed by fellowship training in Neurotology & Skull Base Surgery at the Pappas Ear Clinic in Birmingham, AL before beginning practice in 1989. He practiced in the greater Kansas City, MO and Chattanooga, TN areas for over 20 years.
Randolph's colleagues and patients would describe him as dedicated, conscientious, and caring. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Randolph educated medical students from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly known as the University of Health Sciences) and residents at his private practice in Kansas City, MO. In his later years he was actively involved in balance and movement disorder research, authoring more than 20 peer reviewed journal articles.
Randolph was also an avid fan of rock n' roll music, playing the guitar, animals, and science fiction movies/shows, especially Star Trek.
He is survived by his wife Kay McKenzie, daughter Allison Sutton, and son Evan McKenzie.
At Randolph's request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Tennessee Kidney Foundation and Humane Society.
