Robert lived most of his life in Hamilton County. Robert retired from BOC Gases as a Plant Operator. Robert was a member of the Elks Lodge #91.Robert retired from the United States Navy after Twenty-one years of honorable service.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, and father, Alice Campbell & Elvy Clark, son, Michael A. Clark.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Virginia Clark, children, Jeff (Arianna) Clark, Deborah Dodd, David (Kay)Clark, and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 3, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Chattanooga or to the Elks Lodge.
