Robert Cecil Livingston Sr.

Robert "Bob" Cecil Livingston, Sr., 94, of Hixson passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by many of his loved ones. He was born in Akron, Alabama to the late Harry Chester Livingston Sr. and Cora Lourinza Gray. Bob was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. He retired from DuPont in 1986 and in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise Livingston of 66 years; sons, Don Jackson, Steve Jackson, Robert Livingston Jr., brother, Harry C. Livingston and sister, Eloise Livingston.

Survivors include his sisters, Mary Webster (Jack), Nell Cobb (Ken) and brother-in-law, Buster Killingsworth; grandchildren, Michelle Diamond (Mitchell Shelton), Melissa Wolford, Karen Settles (Curtis), Robert C. Livingston Ill (Mandy), Tiffani Buehring (Nick) and John Livingston (Brandy). He has many great and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 1-3pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel on Saturday, September 2nd. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm with Chaplain Kevin Becker officiating. Interment to follow immediately after the service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
