Robert D. "Bobby" Shelton Sr.

He was a graduate of Central High School then served our country in the Army. Bobby was a retired boilermaker with Combustion Engineer after 42 years of service. He was an avid Duck Hunter and loved the Tennessee Vols and Hank Williams

He was preceded in death by his first wife, June K. Shelton; grandchildren, Meagen Shelton, Joshua Harris, Hayden Shelton; and his parents, Edith and Clyde Gallagher.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Johnny Hickey; daughter, Robin (Jerry) Harris; sons, Robert D. “Bud” Shelton, and Robert (Debbie) Hickey; grandson, Jeremy (Nikki) Harris; granddaughter, Morgan (Ryne) Shumaker; and 7 great grandchildren; granddaughter-in-law, Heather Chambers; sisters, Louise Knight and Sharon Brown.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 (noon) until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Services will follow at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel with Pastor Larry Bush officiating.

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
