Steven Duane Williams, 52, of Chatsworth, Georgia died Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was born December 4, 1963 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Granville Williams; mother, Thelma Jean Nunley; brother, Gary Williams.; grandparents, C.N. and Myrtle Hunt.
He was a loving father, son, and husband. He loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. Mr. Williams was a diehard Tennessee Vols fan. Known to his peers as the class clown, the magician, and general cut up.
He was a 1982 graduate of Hixson High School, where he was active in JROTC.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Williams; son, Steven Tyler Williams; daughter, Amanda Sneed; sister, Sondra Williams Ierubino; half-brother, Terry Williams; step-father, Rex Nunley; step-sons, Ty Crawford, Bradley Crawford, Brian Crawford; nieces Stacy Scott, Jennifer Gladson; and nephew, Neal Williams.
Funeral services will be held 1:30, Sunday, November 13 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch McClure and Pastor Craig Paul officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-6 Saturday.
