Steven Head passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the age of 63 after a brief illness. He was born on March 9, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He moved to Chattanooga with his family while in middle school and graduated from Central High School. He enjoyed working for TJ Maxx for a number of years and was a huge fan of NASCAR racing and UT football.
Steve is predeceased by his parents, Robert C. and Betty Louise Head.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Ledford (Liberty Hill, TX), Susan Riggs (Columbus, OH), Patricia Head Moskal (Nashville), Barbara O’Neill (Atlanta), Karen Ledford (Ooltewah), and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel, Hwy 153, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a private family burial.
