Susan Carol Schenck Moore, 66, of Harrison, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, in a local hospital.Susan was a graduate of Chattanooga Central High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was a gifted artist and a loving mother. Susan will forever be remembered for her immense love and generosity for others.She was a member of Hickory Valley Christian Church in Chattanooga.She was preceded in death by her father, John Charles Schenck.Survivors include her son, Robert Scott (Tracey) Moore, of Clarksville, Tenn.; daughter, Lynn Moore Kropp; two grandchildren, Robert Guion Kropp, Clarissa Nicole Kropp; mother, Iona Marie "Tonie" Schenck; brother, Dale (Kathy) Schenck, all of Harrison; sister, Judy (David) Copper, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation at www.alzfdn.org or Hickory Valley Christian Church.Please share your thoughts and memories online at www.ChattanoogaNorthChapel.com.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory & Florist, North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN, 37343.
