Travis Cleaon Grayson

Travis Cleaon Grayson, 81, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Burks United Methodist Church believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and a member of Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class. He was retired from Mueller Company after 33 years. Travis was a member of Red Bank Masonic Lodge #717 and served as Past Master. He was an Honorary Member of Soddy Lodge #418, Daisy Lodge #706, Hixson Lodge #727, Whitwell Lodge #563, Brainerd Lodge #736, Harrison Lodge #114, John Henry Pierce Lodge #752 and Signal Mountain Lodge #758. Travis is a 32nd Degree member of the Scottish Rite and a member of the Alhambra Shrine. He is a member of the Betsy Ross Chapter Order of Eastern Star #272. He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Villa Price Grayson. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 57 years Frances Maynor Grayson; a son, Barry Travis (Jennifer) Grayson the light of his life; a sister, Emma Lou (James) Davis; sisters-in-law Johnnie Choate, Susie (David) Ashley, Charlene Maynor, Linda (Cecil) Walker and brother-in-law Willie Maynor; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Deborah and Rusty of Hearth Hospice. In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial contribution to the charity of your choice. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 1 pm to 3 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 3 pm with Dr. Tony Collins and Pastor Bobby Franklin officiating. An interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
