Vickie was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed her many friends that she made while playing bingo. She was a huge Elvis fan.
Survivors include her mother, Shirley Root; brothers and sisters, Barbara (Carl) Combs, Linda (John) Kramer, Darlene (Al) Bonea, Judy (Kenneth) Godfrey, Victor Root, Jr, Cindy (the late Peter) Valeo, Kathy (Wayne) Piepenbrink, and Charlie Root; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, August 20 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Deacon Jullian Atwood officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
