Wanda was born in Palmer, Tennessee on August 7, 1947. Throughout her life she gave unselfishly to others through her kind and caring nature. She considered herself to be truly blessed by the love that surrounded her. Wanda was a Christian who attended Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. R. and Alma Patton; husband, Robert Sweatt; son, Douglas Sweatt and a brother, Gene Ross.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Tisherrie Bradshaw Kinser (Tom); sons, Jay Camp (Ruth) and Dwight Sweatt (Tracy) all of Soddy Daisy; grandchildren, Cameron, Kyle and Breanna Bradshaw, Koral and Kami Camp, Victoria and Sonya Sweatt; one great grandson, Tyler Bradshaw; sisters, Vicki Talley (David) and Sonya Patton; brother, Mike Gifford (Tina); sister-in-law, Patricia Ross; and many more beloved family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm on Monday at the North Chapel.
Services for Wanda will follow at 2 pm on Monday at the funeral home chapel with Reverend David Stancil officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made in Wanda’s name to Volunteers in Medicine or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
