Sue was born in Chickamauga, Georgia to the late Eulas and Betty Cox.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Richard Eugene Tallent; siblings, Larry Cox, Yvonne Green and Eulas Cox, Jr.
Sue is survived by her sons, Gary (Michelle) Tallent and David (Angie) Tallent; grandchildren, Jacob, Madison and Brett Tallent; sister, Shelia Lindie; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 pm on Monday, July 1, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 1 pm on Monday at the North Chapel with Richard Floyd officiating.
