A. C. "Swampy" Marsh

A.C. “Swampy” Marsh, age 84, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. Born in Thornton, Texas, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. An avid Fisherman, he was a Master Mason, Past President and Charter Member of Millright Local Union 2232, a Shriner, and a member of The Scottish Rite. He was also Chief Ranch Hand of El Rancho Starvo of Cypress, Texas, and he retired after 26 years from Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Conard Marsh. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Jeanine Stagner Marsh; children, Denise Murley, David Marsh and wife Glenda, Don Marsh and wife Lena, Dale Marsh, and Diane Kopesky and husband Michael; grandchildren, Shannon Marsh and wife Tracy, Tiffani Marsh, Eric McMahan and wife Scottie, Crystal Murley, Matthew Murley, Megan Williams and husband Sage, and Christina Young and husband Robert; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, John Marsh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
