

Adolf was born to Eldibrando and Henrietta Ramirez on July 5, 1950, in Houston, TX. He graduated from Milby High School in 1968 and attended college. He then served in the United States Navy for 7 years and was honorably discharged as a E5 Petty Officer, 2nd Class. He married Irma Garcia in 1971, and they had two daughters. Later he remarried Alma Garza in 1980, and they had two daughters, two sons and lived together in Houston, TX. Adolf was a First Line Machinist supervisor for Exxon Mobile and retired after 33 years of service.
He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. They would spend many summers in the country at his parent’s property in Goodrich. Other fun times were spent at the beach or water parks. On many weekends he would enjoy grilling brisket, ribs and spending time outdoors with his plants. He also enjoyed going to the movies with his wife.
He is survived by his wife Alma Ramirez, his children, Cynthia (George) Fabela, Andrea (Israel) Pesina, Laura (Jason) Montes, Adolf Ramirez, Jr., Jessica Westbrook, Steven Ramirez. He also leaves to cherish his memory, sisters Carmella (Isidro) Blancas, Martha (Mark) Hurtado, his brother Amando Ramirez, and his 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Eldibrando & Henrietta Ramirez, brothers, Joe and Jesse Ramirez, and nephew Jesse Ramirez.
A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm, with a rosary at 6pm. It will be at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 11am to 12pm at St. Mary’s Magdalene Catholic Church. The burial service will be held from 1pm-2pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Cemetery. A reception will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
